Happy Neurodiversity Pride Day! 🧠 ✨

Today celebrates neurodivergent people and recognises neurological diversity as a natural part of human variation.

While neurodivergent people bring unique perspectives, creativity, and strengths, many also experience misunderstanding, stigma, and barriers to support, particularly within education, workplaces, and healthcare systems.

At SHIPS, we recognise that neurodiversity can also shape how people experience relationships, intimacy, and s*xuality, and that inclusive care involves understanding these experiences with curiosity and respect. ✨

Happy Pride Month! 🌈 🌈 ✨

Pride Month in Australia arrives at a complicated moment. Across the country, many LGBTQIA+ people are feeling the impact of increasing hostility, political targeting, misinformation, and attempts to roll back inclusion, particularly toward trans and gender-diverse communities. For many, visibility still comes with risk.

Safety, acceptance, and equal treatment cannot be taken for granted and it’s important to acknowledge that honestly.

But Pride has never only been about celebration. It has always been about resilience, visibility, community, and refusing to disappear. 💛

Today is Pans*xual Visibility Day, a day to recognise and celebrate people who identify as pans*xual and to increase awareness and understanding of pans*xuality. 💛🩷💙

⭐️ Pans*xuality is a s*xual orientation that describes attraction to people regardless of gender. For some individuals, this means that gender is not a defining factor in who they are attracted to.

⭐️ Pans*xual Visibility Day is an opportunity to continue building understanding and creating spaces where people can talk openly about identity, relationships, and s*xuality without fear of judgement.
