Solar eclipse on 12th August 2026 @ 5.24pm Sydney time.

( Below is by Sam Geppi.)

Solar eclipses are intensified New Moons that bring powerful resets, often through upheaval, emotional crisis, or fated events. This eclipse falls in Cancer in Aslesha Nakshatra, hemmed between Ketu and Mars, while exalted Jupiter is also in Cancer. The result is a deep karmic turning point around emotional security, family patterns, and psychological attachments.

Aslesha is the “Entwiner,” ruled by Sarpa, the serpent. It wraps, binds, hypnotizes, and penetrates hidden emotional territory. It can produce obsessive feelings, intense bonds, manipulation, jealousy, emotional chaos, and psychological instability. But when attachment is pure, Aslesha can reach the deepest source of love and devotion.

A solar eclipse here exposes unhealthy entanglements involving family, addictions, secret cravings, or toxic relationships. The serpent squeezes until the poison is forced out.

Ketu represents karmic exhaustion, detachment, withdrawal, and hidden spiritual power. It can bring confusion, criticism, explosive release, and the sense that old ways of seeking security no longer work.

With the eclipse pressured between Ketu and Mars, old emotional karma may erupt through anger, crisis, confrontation, or sudden breaks. One may feel trapped between rage and withdrawal, pushed to cut cords, and forced to confront shadow qualities in oneself or close relationships. Because this occurs in Aslesha, hidden power struggles, jealousy, control, and manipulation may surface so they can finally be exposed and released.

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, bringing wisdom, faith, protection, higher guidance, and emotional intelligence into the same area being eclipsed. This means the upheaval is not meaningless chaos. It can lead toward a deeper and more authentic form of love, ethics, forgiveness, and inner faith.

Exalted Jupiter can transform emotional compulsion into conscious devotion, manipulation into honesty and higher ethics, and dependency into inner faith and self-nourishment.

This eclipse exposes where emotional attachments have become poisonous or compulsive. Ketu and Mars bring old wounds to the surface through conflict, anger, and sudden release. Exalted Jupiter provides the wisdom and protection needed to turn the crisis into spiritual initiation.

This is a time to cut cords with toxic emotional habits and relationships, face jealousy and control honestly, and return to pure love through faith, teachers.

The June 2026 Cosmic Pivot:
Kala Amrita Yoga.

Heads up, stargazers: a rare, highly karmic alignment is taking over the sky.

From June 8th to June 18th, we enter a profound Kala Amrita Yoga.

Every single planet is currently trapped between Rahu and Ketu. This cosmic bottleneck halts standard forward momentum. It forces us to face unresolved past patterns.
How to navigate this transit:

Pause big launches: Delay major material or financial initiatives. Purge old baggage: Clear out mental clutter.
Surrender control: Allow fated transitions to unfold naturally.

This window is not about chasing external success. It is a sacred pause designed for spiritual upgrades and deep soul clearing.

Kung fu tzu said: “when meeting contention in another it would be wise to examine oneself.”

The Shadow is always portraying an opportunity to see the opposite of what we believe about ourselves. What we become fixated on in others are qualities we may repress, but need to express.

Just as hate is the Shadow of love, and fear is the Shadow of trust, something is on the horizon that will teach you a great deal about transforming difficulty into meaning.

Look at the things you want to judge harshly or that you avoid because they can teach you much about your Shadow.

The Medicine StoryIn this ancient medicine story, the Crow became so fascinated by its own shadow that it pecked and scratched at it constantly. Eventually, its shadow woke up, came to life, and consumed the Crow. This transforms Crow into the "Dead Crow" or the "Left-Handed Guardian," which represents the ultimate crossing of boundaries:The Void: Crow lives in the void, where there is no time. It sees the past, present, and future simultaneously.Shadow Work: Your "shadow" represents your unhealed traumas, suppressed emotions, and the hidden aspects of your ego.

A New Moon occurs Sydney time, Friday April 17, 9:51pm.

It's in Ashwini Nakshatra. In Vedic mythology, the Ashwini Kumars—the twin deities who preside over this star—were master healers said to possess remarkable restorative powers, even the ability to grant vitality and longevity.

This New Moon also forms a configuration known as Shubha Kartari Yoga, considered highly auspicious. The Moon is “flanked” by Venus on one side and Mercury on the other, a placement believed to support harmony, clarity.

May your new moon wishes all come to fruition. Be sure to light a candle on Friday night.

A great Kabbalist known as the Ba’al Shem Tov said,

The way I behave towards the world and others is how the Light of the Creator behaves toward me.

When we are wronged by somebody and instead of harboring anger and hatred towards them we forgive them, all of the negative energy we have created is washed away.

Forgiveness allows us to reclaim our power from the people who have hurt us. Here are 6 tips to achieve forgiveness and help you remove resentment, blame and victim consciousness to get to a place of power and strength.

1. Take responsibility for your own feelings
To forgive does not mean to condone the bad things that have been done to us, but to take responsibility for our own feelings. Holding people accountable for their actions is not the same as blaming them for how we feel. For example, it is justified to hold an ex-spouse accountable to paying child support, but it is not justified to hold them accountable for our never finding love again. We should not depend on anybody else for our emotional well-being. We have the capacity and responsibility to shape our own lives. So when we blame another person for how we feel, we grant them power over our emotions.

2. Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?
The need to be right comes from a place of ego. It is through our mistakes that we can see what we need to work on, but our ego steps in and doesn’t allow us to forgive, even though we know that holding on to hurt harms us. When we err, it allows us to have empathy, imagination, conviction and courage. Wrongness is a vital part of how we learn to change, while needing to be right just keeps us stuck.

3. No expectations
In offering forgiveness, we may expect someone who wronged us to admit wrongdoing or apologize. However, if we are offering our forgiveness only to get an apology, we are coming from a place where we are trying to receive, not share. When we have an agenda, we are coming from ego, from the Desire to Receive for the Self Alone, which disconnects us from the Light.

4. Identify why you are holding on to resentment
Do you have expectations? Do you want an apology? Are you holding on to a story because you use it as your identity? Are you too scared to move forward in your life and take responsibility for yourself and holding on to this resentment and story to keep you safe?

5. Don’t shoot the messenger
The kabbalistic concept of tikun or correction teaches us that everything that happens to us in this world is exactly what we need in order to reach our next level. Growth and transformation lie within the challenges that arise in our relationships.

When we understand that someone “did something“ to us or “mistreated” us because it is necessary for our tikun and spiritual growth, it is much easier to forgive. Instead of allowing the initial ego based reaction of lashing out at the person who hurt you, Kabbalists actually embrace the opportunity knowing it is in their best interest. Everyone in our life is a messenger. Even if a person comes to us with the wrong intention, or with negativity, they are still bringing us a message showing us what we need to work on.

6. Scan the Zohar Portion of Miketz, Verse 186
Everything that happens to us is the effect of something we have done in our past or present lifetimes that we encounter to assist in our transformation. Our experiences are exactly what we need in each and every moment. Once we understand this, forgiveness for those who have “wronged” us is easy. In fact, vengeance will even be replaced by gratitude. Meditate on this section of the Zohar to awaken your ability for genuinely forgiving others.

How to recognise a Narcissist.

The Prevalence of Dominating Nature
The first byproduct of mahā-māyā is called pradhāna or “I am the boss”. This bossiness is a form of the āvaraṇātmika or the “covering potency”.
The greater the sense of insecurity in a person, the greater is their need to project outwardly power and confidence. A narcissist is a person who suffers from inner fear and projects outward confidence, power, and satisfaction. So, the idea that “I am the boss” is not based on true inner confidence and fearlessness; it is rather based on insecurity. The greater the inner insecurity, the greater is the restlessness and then outwardly projected confidence. Since the whole thing is paradoxical, therefore, it is hard to spot such people, because they are alternating between supreme confidence and excessive insecurity.

A good example is managers and leaders in the corporate world who project supreme confidence outwardly, but they are always scared of losing their job, getting reprimanded, etc. They lack leadership because they are fearful. Their inner insecurities and fears prevent them from making righteous decisions. All their decisions are meant to protect themselves. They project outward power, but they are weak inside. Hence, they oscillate between extreme bouts of anxiety over small issues and then project great outward power as if they are truly confident.

A truly confident person is calm. A narcissist is not calm, even if they are projecting boldness outwardly. At the slightest of trouble or problem, their insecurity, fear, restlessness, anxiety, etc., becomes apparent. Then, they get angry, start blaming other people, conjuring the worst, and spreading fear and stress to others. They are always prone to sacrifice others in order to protect themselves.

Hence, their so-called bossiness is not a sign of leadership, tenacity, strength, etc. It is just a projection. When they can dominate other people, they feel more confident, relaxed, and stress-free. Hence, they are constantly aching to control, dominate, and subjugate others. This is known as the “narcissistic supply”. They need to feel good about themselves, and they will always catch those people whom they can control, and dominate, and use them to create their “supply” of egoistic fulfillment. All these people that the narcissist uses, are generally lower in status, age, wealth, position, or power. People who are lower in social status are prone to naturally respect those who are higher in status. The narcissist feeds on those who are lower in status, because they are naturally respecting, and easy to dominate.

The Absence of a Moral Compass
The by-product of pradhāna is mahattattva. As noted above, mahat means “greatness” and tattva means “essence”, so mahattattva means the “essence of greatness”. We commonly call these moral virtues such as truthfulness, kindness to others, sacrificing nature, and cleanliness or organized life.

The narcissist lacks a moral compass. They do not hesitate in lying, cheating, and deceiving others. They are often manipulative, and they manipulate to gain control over people, to use them as fodder for their “narcissistic supply” or egoistic fulfillment. A simple example of this manipulation is that they will never share complete information about anything with you. They will always present what is favorable for them and hide what is unfavorable for them. They will always tell you one-sided stories to fool you. Whatever they are saying is untrustworthy; they will highlight problems that don’t exist to prod you into fear and anxiety (to evoke some action from you) and hide the real problems from your vision.

A narcissist is never sacrificing and never kind to others. They will create a big hue and cry if they are asked to make a small sacrifice, even if that means a lot for the other person. They will terrorize the person who is making a small demand, and make it seem like it is a huge ask being made of them. Even if they do something for you, they will constantly gloat about it, and try to make you feel guilty about having made such a demand from them. This is their tactic so that you will stop asking them.

A good example of this is selectively miserly behavior toward others. A miser doesn’t want to spend money at all, but a narcissist only doesn’t want to spend money on others. If he or she is forced to spend, then they will make you feel guilty. They will constantly tell you about the great thing they have done for you, and how you should feel gratitude toward them. Meanwhile, the narcissist will spend excessively on his or her egoistic needs. Their need for egoistic fulfillment is so big that any expenditure is justifiable but the big needs of others are so insignificant that any expense on them is a waste of money. This creates a paradox in which money is spent on useless things when it comes to the narcissist’s needs, and not spent on important things when it comes to the needs of others. To boost his or her ego, the narcissist will spend any amount of money and then complain about others spending too much—even if those others are spending money on their basic necessities.

Many narcissists do charity and donate money to distant and unrelated people because it makes them feel good about themselves. Meanwhile, people in their home may not have clothes, food, or education, because—as the narcissist will tell them repeatedly—“there is no money for luxuries”. Again, a paradox is created in which distant people will praise the narcissist for his munificence and generosity, while those who are living close to them will struggle for the basic necessities of existence.
What doesn’t break you, will make you stronger. The narcissist relies on breaking you because that’s the only way they can control and manipulate you. If you can survive this incessant onslaught, then you will become spiritually stronger. But if you cannot, then the narcissist can also destroy you completely.

I just listened to Jay Shetty interviewing Madonna, and was struck by how Kabbalah has transformed her life.

Madonna revealed that her late brother, once considered her “biggest enemy,” was someone she longed to punish. After a near-death experience in 2023, she realized holding grudges was like carrying poison.

She said, without a enemy to blame, now what would she do?

By seeing others good side, they can overcome this. This is a lifetime of finding common ground.
Kabbalah teaches that we must pray for our enemies instead of taking revenge.
The lesson for Aries South node peeps is about the art of compromise.
Compromise has two meanings. The first is you finding a solution that works between two or more parties that allows everyone to win.
When they do this, the universe blesses them.

In astrology, the South Node in Aries, carries a karmic legacy of warriors—individuals who, in past lives, fought fiercely for themselves.
This courage can be powerful, but must be used for the highest good of all.
On the positive, this nodal group are great teachers of discipline and courage.

By understanding ourselves and consciously choosing light over darkness, forgiveness over revenge, and compassion over resentment, we co-create with the Creator.
