From bad to worse in Victoria.
OUR GAY MEN AND BOYS DESERVE A MINISTER FOR MEN AND BOYS HEALTH AND WELFARE AS SOMEONE THAT WILL SPEAK FOR THEM AS MEN ASWELL!!!!!

We stand for all men and boys. We listen to the gay men and boys and have personally had boys still in the closet come out to us to raise their views, thoughts and opinions.

Did you know that the lqbtqi plus movement gains its support and funding on the basis of su***de reduction? Did you know over 75% of this communities su***des are MEN AND BOYS!

The Extremists in the lgbtqi space are not helping these men and boys they are making it worse for them and the bullying in young gay men is higher than its ever been before.
A survey of lqbtqi person's of over 6000 participants found 91% of gay/transitioning men live with suicidal ideation. Things were never like this pre the lqbtqi movement.
Why are young gay men now at such higher risks you ask?????
Its because of the ripple affect of adult conversations and online rhetoric being used as ammunition towards our young gay people.

Things like what is a women? Our stance is firm on this. A women is an adult female. A mother a grandmother a sister a daughter. Our amazing provider's that raise men and boys.

Things like wanting to use women's toilets? Women deserve safe space's and we allways knew it was wrong to go into the women's toilets,in primary school going into the girls would get you the hardest punishments.

Having a s*xual relationship with a transgender person of the same s*x doesn't make you gay. Pretty sure if you have s*x with the same s*x the dictionary term is gay/bis*xual.

The list of these things is rather large and not only causing a huge rift between these people but also causing further segregation and aggression towards our young gay and closet gay men and boys.

Its OK to support gay people and lets be honest almost all adult men have a gay friend.
Australian men don't care to harm or shun gay people anymore as we have come along way in our country with this.

The Extremist actions in the lgbtqi movement are causing the problems of segregation while SPRUIKING inclusiveness and this is at the expense of our gay men and making it harder for young gay men to talk freely to straight people about thoughts feelings and emotions.

4 out of 5 gay men will have ideation and during the survey a over 60% said they have thought about taking their lives in the last 12 months.

OUR GAY MEN AND BOYS NEED PROTECTION FROM THIS EXTREMIST VIEWS AND SEGREGATION BEING PUSHED INTO OUR SOCIETY BY THE EXTREMISTS IN THIS MOVEMENT.

Victoria now has this bloke who supports and sucks up to the lobbiest parts of the lqbtqi in support of "ALL" their views and needs. No its time we stood up to the Extremists and stood for our gay men.
We also have the minister for women as deputy of the Victorian Labor party.

How will the men and boys of Victoria reduce the male su***de epidemic with these 2 at the helm.
Impossible!!!
A bloke that pushes Extremists views and support in silencing men and boys through manosphere and healthy masculinity classes in schools and a women who is in a position to help women thrive. The second unelected leader of this party in 3 years, the people don't even get to vote who leads in politics anymore in Victoria.
Would they have voted Labor in if he was the leader? It makes you think doesn't it?
The same thing happened to Brad Battin who lead the LIBERALS in Victoria and was very good for the position as an ex police officer he had the insight to build better community but was the "wrong fit".

If you wish to join in this topic please be respectful we are showing a truth in support of our gay men as to assist them so please keep the conversation productive with out shamming.

Politicians that support that push Lqbtqi Extremists views should not be our leaders, because they are ignorant to the damage being done to the gay men and boys that are not part of this movement or wish to not be involved.
Le****ns are fleeing this movement in droves and that should speak mountains to the potential damage being done to our society and causing further segregation and arguments in our society.

Although we almost never speak on this area in our work because of the potential back lash. As one of Australia's most vocal advocates to male su***de reduction its important i show the damage being done to these men and call for a Federal response through a federal portfolio for men and boys to help the gay men and boys that express their opinions to us as their advocates.

On the back of wings we fight.

"Obviously you've never been the victim of crime"

One of the comments from yesterdays post.

There must be an assumption that because this page is run by people with lived experience of the justice system, and focuses on breaking cycles of crime, I couldn't possibly understand what it's like to be a victim.

Well truth is, I do.

I've been the victim of crime.
I've experienced abuse.
And I grew up experiencing violence from a young age.

Going through some of the comments, it's almost like you have to pick a side. You're stuck choosing between caring about victims or caring about preventing future crime.

Every time we post something:
"What about the victims??".

Fair question. Victims deserve all the support, and there are incredible organisations dedicated to walking alongside victims. The work they do is so important.

But that's not what this page exists to do.

We shouldn't have to start every post by reminding people that crime is wrong or that victims matter.

We have never suggested otherwise.

This page exists for a different reason.

By the time someone is standing in a courtroom, or walking through the gates of prison.. the harm has already been done. A victim already exists.

What we're interested in is what happened long before that?

Why do some people end up offending in the first place?

What are we missing?

What keeps these cycles repeating generation after generation?

And more importantly...

What actually breaks them?

If we can answer some of these questions.. we create fewer victims.

I try not to spend too much time in the comment section. There seems to be so many that can so easily speak with absolute certainty about those who commit crime.

I spent years getting to know people and their stories while I was inside. And continue to do that today through the work we do at IOP.

Hundreds of conversations. Their stories weren't all the same, but there were patterns that became impossible to ignore.

Childhood abuse. Violence. Neglect. SA. Parents battling addiction. Being exposed to things kids should never have to see.

And before someone chimes in and says,

"That happened to me and I never turned to crime".

Thats great. And I'm genuinely glad you didn't.

Trauma doesn't make someone a criminal. Most who experience trauma never offend.

But at the same time, you can't ignore what decades of research has consistently shown.

Children exposed to these things are significantly overrepresented throughout our justice system.

It's not an excuse, or a free pass. And it doesn't remove personal responsibility.

It's recognising a pattern.

If you refuse to understand the things that increase someone's risk of offending, you'll never get better at preventing it.

Life is rarely as black and white as some of the people in our comment section must believe.

Billions of dollars are spent responding to crime. Imagine if they were just as obsessed with preventing it.

Maybe then there'd be fewer people who know exactly what it's like to be the victim of crime.

And if you genuinely cared about victims...

surely you'd have to care just as much about preventing the next one.
