At 3am, when the distractions of the day fall away, what's been quietly accumulating tends to surface.

Under chronic stress its responsiveness degrades. The brake gets sluggish.

Even when we're not actively thinking about it β€” the cost of living, global uncertainty, the low hum of collective anxiety β€” the nervous system is absorbing all of it.

That has a physical cost. And it shows up as exhaustion, poor sleep, a tiredness that rest doesn't touch.
