Tiredness, fatigue, or exhaustion is known as "Xu Lao" in Chinese Medicine. This simply translates to mean deficiency of Qi or energy.
Fatigue, whether it is chronic or more recently occurring, is one of the most common complaints at our clinic and our goal is to boost with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs.
Some kinds of fatigue such as post viral fatigue can be caused by an excess of energy, heat and inflammation accumulated in places where it needs to be moved.
Acupuncture moves the energy from areas of excess to areas that are deficient and it also helps to reduce inflammation and clear heat out of the body.
