As a fourth-generation funeral director in a family-operated business, Adrian is passionate about keeping standards high across the profession and ensuring families receive the care they deserve.
A past WA and National President, we’re very proud to see him taking on the role again while remaining on the National Council too!

It was great to see the Perth Wildcats playing in Eaton last Friday, and we loved being there.
It’s always good to see events like this coming to our region and bringing the community together. We were pretty happy to see William Barrett & Sons banner courtside too!

There aren’t many books that delve into grief for teenagers but here’s one that’s worth checking out if you know a teen who may benefit. Being Black ’n Chicken, & Chips follows a boy navigating everyday teenage life while coping with the illness and death of his mother. Its honest mix of humour, sadness and confusion may help a grieving teenager feel less alone and understand that there is no single right way to grieve.

Grief can be exhausting, confusing and isolating, and sometimes its weight can take us by surprise. Our free grief support sessions offer a supportive space to share what you’re going through, or simply listen. With a qualified counsellor there to support you, sometimes just being with others who understand can bring comfort. Please share with anyone who may benefit.

It was wonderful to welcome members of our community for a tour of our Care Centre yesterday as part of Dying to Know Day.
We’re grateful to those who came with curiosity to learn more about death, dying and bereavement. The more comfortable we become having these conversations, the better equipped we are to support one another through grief. We also hope that events like this spark conversations which lead to end-of-life planning and the recording of special memories. Always remember, when it comes to funerals - you’re welcome to ‘think outside the box’.

Busselton Hospice Care Incorporated invites members of our community who are navigating loss to join our Journey Through Grief program. Over six supportive sessions, participants can share their story in a caring environment, connect with others experiencing grief, and gain a deeper understanding of bereavement.
