Forrest Family Practice welcomes Dr Jami Ilyas!
Dr Jami Ilyas is a highly experienced medical practitioner with a strong focus on orthopaedics and sports medicine. He has undertaken extensive training in Glasgow, Scotland, and Perth, Western Australia, gaining broad clinical experience in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Dr Ilyas currently runs a private Orthopaedic Injection Clinic and the Specialist Fracture Clinic at St John of God Medical Centre Murdoch, where he provides timely, patient-centred care for a wide range of acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions.
He is known for his thorough approach, clear communication, and attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients. Dr Ilyas is a great listener, and his empathetic and compassionate manner helps patients feel comfortable and well-supported throughout their care.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys table tennis, having previously competed at state level and represented Western Australia, as well as spending quality time with his family.
