π USSA are searching for a Dedicated Disability Support Worker to add to our community π

We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred supports throughout the Bundaberg region and hoping to find a reliable Support Worker to join our growing team and help empower our participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and actively engage in their community.
π Casual Position Available
β° Monday to Friday (some weekends may be required)
π
20β30 hours per week, with additional hours available for the right candidate
As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting participants to live fulfilling and independent lives and achieve their goals.
Your duties may include:
β
Personal care including showering, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene
β
Assisting with medication administration
β
Domestic assistance including household cleaning, laundry, ironing and meal preparation
β
Tending to general household tasks and maintaining a safe living environment
β
Community access and social support including shopping, appointments and recreational activities
β
Transport to allied health appointments and community activities
β
Supporting participants with planning, goal setting and skill development
β
Encouraging independence, confidence and community participation
β
Building positive relationships with participants, families and support networks
Skills & Requirements:
β Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)
β Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
β First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
β Industry Relevant Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
β Current Driver's Licence
β Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
β Previous experience in Disability Support, Aged Care or Community Services is preferred but not essential
β Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
