3. By working with you as little or as much as you need. Sarah is a University trained Audiologist with over twelve years of clinical experience and a wide range of clinical skill sets from:
- standard to complex adult assessment
- standard to

complex adult rehabilitation (hearing aids and assistive listening devices, bone
- implant hearing aids and auditory training)
- tinnitus and sound intolerance assessment & rehabilitation
- remote outreach work in Aboriginal communities
- paediatric hearing assessments >3yrs old
- teleaudiology

Sarah has significant personal experience training new intern Audiologists, running specialist training courses and was a clinical trainer supporting over 60 clinicians across QLD and NT for six years. If that's not enough, she is also a local Bundy girl who was born in Bundaberg, grew up on a farm, completed 2 degrees at the University of Queensland, lived in Ireland for a time, travelled 26 countries and settled back in Bundaberg to raise a family.

: Different parts of the cochlea respond to different pitches of sound. šŸ‘‚

The 20,000 nerve cells of a cochlea are arranged like a piano keyboard. Lower pitches stimulate the nerve cells towards one end (the apex) of your cochlea while higher pitches stimulate the nerve cells towards the other end (the base).

With MED-EL's full-length electrode arrays, recipients are able to access a wide range of deeper sounds including soothing ocean waves🌊 and thunder rumblingā›ˆļø.
