🌱 Sometimes, it takes a village. 💚

Over recent months, one of our participants has faced some incredibly difficult challenges. Through determination, resilience, and the support of a dedicated team around him, he has come out the other side stronger than ever. Through it all, one thing never changed—the smile never left his face!! His positive attitude has been nothing short of inspiring. 💚

At Inspiring Growth Support Services, we know that meaningful outcomes don't happen alone. They come from working together with participants, families, therapists and other providers, all with the same goal of helping him thrive. 🫂

We're incredibly grateful to continue being a part of his journey and to work alongside such a dedicated team, providing consistent, person-centred support every step of the way.

Every small step forward is worth celebrating, and this journey is a reminder that sometimes, it really does take a village. 💚🌱

🌟 Neurospace is returning! 🌟

The upcoming workshop will be for young people aged 12 to 15.

Neurospace is a 6-week skill-building group who identify as neurodivergent. The group focuses on building social skills, coping strategies, and confidence in a safe, inclusive, and supportive space.

We’re collecting expressions of interest to help us plan the group and share next steps.

Exciting!!

🌱 Inspiring Growth is growing this year! 🌱

Im super excited to welcome Luke to Inspiring Growth Support Services as our newest Support Worker. As we continue to grow, so does our ability to support more NDIS participants to build independence, confidence, and work towards their personal goals.

Luke brings years of experience as a qualified chef and has a genuine passion for helping people learn how to cook for themselves and manage their own food budgets. He enjoys supporting participants to develop daily living skills such as budgeting, meal planning, cooking, and food preparation, empowering them to gain confidence and independence in their everyday lives.

Luke also has lived experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, allowing him to bring empathy, understanding, and meaningful connection to his support work. He has been actively engaging with aged care participants, supporting wellbeing, companionship, and positive daily routines.
With a passion for soccer, staying active, and a motivating, can-do attitude, Luke enjoys supporting participants to stay active, build confidence, and work towards their health and fitness goals. Outside of work, he loves Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, and exploring Astronomy, bringing his enthusiasm and curiosity into everything he does.

This year i invested in a thermomix! 🍲

This wonderful participant and i have been spending some time in the kitchen implementing and experimenting with healthy Thermomix recipes 🍲🥦

It was a great way to build confidence, explore nutritious food choices, and develop everyday cooking skills in a relaxed and supportive setting, whilst encouraging a balanced healthy lifestyle.
Moments like these highlight how small, practical steps can support independence, wellbeing, and confidence 🌱
