WE ARE HIRING - Female Disability Support Worker – Mature Applicant Preferred | Bundaberg Region

My Companion Co. is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional female Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing support to a valued NDIS participant.

This role would be particularly suited to a mature applicant who can provide consistency, companionship, and a calm, supportive presence.

About the Role

You will provide one-on-one support within the participant’s home and community, assisting with:

🧡 Community access and social engagement
🧡 Personal care and daily living supports
🧡 Transport to appointments and activities
🧡 Domestic assistance
🧡 Building independence and confidence
🧡 Supporting health and wellbeing goals
🧡 Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation

About You

We are looking for someone who:

🧡 Is a female support worker
🧡 Is mature, reliable, and compassionate
🧡 Has excellent communication skills
🧡 Can build positive, professional relationships
🧡 Understands the importance of consistency and routine
🧡 Is confident working independently
🧡 Maintains strong professional boundaries
🧡 Has previous experience in disability support, aged care, nursing, or community services

Essential Requirements

🧡 Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
🧡 Current Blue Card
🧡 Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
🧡 Current Driver’s Licence
🧡 Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
