Weā€™re officially Australiaā€™s Best Retirement Village! šŸ†

Weā€™re incredibly proud to share that Argyle Gardens Retirement Village has won the Stonebank Group Peopleā€™s Choice Award for Best Retirement Community at the 2026 Property Council of Australia National Retirement Living Awards.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it was voted on by residents and the wider retirement living community.

At BlueCareā€™s Argyle Gardens Retirement Village, resident Malcolm has turned a lifelong love of gardening into a special connection with nature through his backyard hive of native bees (Tetragonula carbonaria).

ā€œItā€™s more about the enjoyment of it and knowing theyā€™re doing something important for the environment,ā€ he said.

The bees help pollinate fruit, vegetables and plants throughout the garden, supporting both Malcolmā€™s backyard harvest and the wider natural environment.

Stories like Malcolmā€™s are a lovely reminder that even small hobbies and tiny creatures can make a meaningful difference.
