We can't get this song out of our head, so a few members of the Lifeskills singing group decided to cover Eastern Rosellas! Recorded live at La Trobe University Bundoora
The song was originally written and performed by Miles Phillips and Joel Phillips and we hope they love it our version!

We are jumping out of our skin with excitement to finally announce our very own Latrobe Lifeskills Bundoora Art Exhibition coming this October at
This exhibition is all about Lifeskills artists sharing their 'inner galaxies' through art and expression.
We would love for everyone to show their support by attending the opening or visiting the gallery between 1-9 October 2026 (hours vary).
Sharing of this post far and wide is highly encouraged! Thanks to the Lifeskills community and beyond for getting behind this wonderful event.

A throwback to warmer weather and First Aid February!
Each year, Lifeskills Participant Support Workers talk to participants about first aid and what it means. Participants learn what is in First Aid Kits, when to get help and who to ask for help. Participants also learn about emergencies vs non-emergencies.

Today brings the end of another wonderful Year Nine Ivanhoe Grammar School Community Program at Latrobe Lifeskills.
Twice a year, IGS students join participants at Lifeskills to learn about the disability sector, including future career options, along with gaining an understanding of disability and how they can be more inclusive of people with a disability.
The students run a Sport session, a Just Dance and a biscuit making activity, and also join in on some of the activities at Lifeskills. This time around, Lifeskills participants also had the opportunity to meet the school's Therapy Dog, Missy.
By the end of the week, we see students and participants farewelling each other like long-time friends and observe real growth among the students.
We looking forward to continuing this partnership with the 2027 year nine cohort.

Latrobe Lifeskills has connected with the Metro Trains Melbourne Community Education Team to participate in group-based discussions that relate to public transport.
Discussions focus on what's new and upcoming, what issues participants face when using public transport and what they enjoy about their experiences.
We appreciate this wonderful opportunity to have participant voices heard to enhance and improve public transport for people with a disability.
