I know so many women who go to bed exhausted... and then lie there for hours unable to switch their brain off.
Women who feel overwhelmed by things that never used to bother them. Women who reach for wine, chocolate, or carbs at the end of the day and wonder, "What's wrong with me?"
What if nothing is wrong with you?
One line from my latest article says it all:
"Your body's not weak. It's searching for calm through the fastest way it knows how."
For many women in midlife, changing hormones, chronic stress, and nervous system depletion can create a perfect storm of anxiety, poor sleep, overwhelm, and cravings.
It's not a lack of willpower. It's physiology.
I've written a new article explaining why this happens, the role of GABA (your brain's calming chemical), and what you can do to support your nervous system naturally.
