🇦🇺 VIETNAM VETERANS DAY – MEMORIAL SERVICE 🇦🇺

On Tuesday 18 August, our community is invited to come together to commemorate Vietnam Veterans Day and honour the service, courage and sacrifice of all Australians who served in the Vietnam War.

We remember those who served, those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who stood beside them.

The service is proudly conducted by the Burnie & Districts Sub-Branch of the Tasmanian Branch of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia.

We’re excited to introduce MOVET: Moving Veterans!

MOVET is a new transport and support service from The Veterans and Family Centre, helping eligible veterans and family members access healthcare appointments, wellbeing programs, community activities and other approved appointments.

Based in Burnie, MOVET is currently supporting veterans across Tasmania’s North West and Northern regions, while also facilitating transport from other locations across the state wherever possible. Our goal is to continue growing MOVET into a truly statewide service.

We look forward to helping you get where you need to go!
