It's Red Nose Day today! The Red Nose foundation spreads awareness and raises funds to help save little lives, continue research and support grieving families.
Every August on Red Nose Day, they encourage everyone to "get silly for a serious cause", which helps the foundation fund research into SIDS and stillbirth, and provide free support to families across the country that have experienced SIDS, stillbirth, SUDI, and miscarriage, among other things.

In case you missed us in the clinic today, our Honeycomb team all got a bit silly and wore something red to support the cause❤️‍🩹 Let us know if you participated too!

World Diabetes Week is a global awareness campaign focused on improving understanding, prevention, and management of diabetes. It highlights the importance of early diagnosis, ongoing care, and healthy lifestyle support for people living with diabetes.

🩺 What is diabetes?
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic condition where the body has difficulty regulating blood glucose (sugar). This happens either because the body doesn’t produce enough insulin or can’t use it properly.

Over time, unmanaged blood sugar levels can affect the heart, kidneys, eyes, nerves, and other parts of the body. The good news is that with the right care, many people live full, healthy lives.

💙 Helpful reminders for World Diabetes Week
Book your annual cycle of care if you’re due.
Check in regularly with your GP or diabetes care team.
Monitor blood glucose as advised.
Stay active and eat balanced meals.
Don’t skip routine check-ups, prevention and early action matter.
