Well done to the King of Melbourne, Novak Djokovic, on his amazing 9th Australian Open title.
Novak was struggling with an abdominal and lower back injury throughout the tournament, and credited his physio and his “magic hands” for getting him through the tournament.

Your Physiotherapist can help you SAFELY make your GLORIOUS return to the field, court, pool or gym. We can do this by helping you implement the 3 P’s of return to sport:

Planning - a guided, graded return

PreHab - treatment and exercises to PREVENT injuries and get rid of niggles/stiffness. Now is the perfect time to get those rid of those annoying injuries

Patience - don’t rush. Start light (at least 30% lighter then pre covid) and build up. This means both intensity and volume of exercise.

Attention home office workers:

With the massive increase in people working from home, desk setup and posture is vitally important, or else we are all going to end up hunch backs after this is all over...

Take note of where your setup is at home, and try to mimic the shown setup as closely as possible.

Laptops are not designed for long term use, so please use external monitors wherever possible.

Remember, Physiotherapy is still available; so if you want help with your setup, or need some relief from a stiff back or neck, we are able to provide this in a clean and safe way.

✅ hand sanitisers located around practice
✅ hand santisers located at elevators
✅ washing hands before and after each patient
✅ changing bed sheets +towels after each patient
✅ disinfecting beds after each patient
✅ disinfecting waiting rooms and gym equipment
✅ one patient per physio per session

We will ensure you feel safe and comfortable when attending our practice while we sort out your injury and get you back on track!
