How well do you know your podiatrist? 👀

We gave Jonathan 30 seconds to answer some very important questions… 😂

No foot questions. Just the important stuff. ☕

What would YOUR answers be?👇

Why does this tiny spot hurt SO much?! 👀

A corn isn’t simply “hard skin”

It develops when repeated pressure and friction causes the skin to thicken and form a concentrated, hardened area.

That’s why a corn can feel you’re stepping on a tiny pebble or needle every time you walk.

Common causes include:
👟Tightly or poorly fitted shoes
🦶Pressure from the way your foot moves
🦴Prominent areas
🔁 Repeated friction

Removing the corn can provide great relief. However, if the underlying problem is not addressed, the corn can come back.

If you keep getting a corn in the same spot, the question isn’t just “ how do I remove it?”

It’s, “why is it forming there in the first place?”

📌Save this if you’ve ever had a painful corn

✉️Send this to someone who keeps complaining about their corn

Why does my foot hurt HERE? 👀

Where you feel pain can give us clues about what might be going on.

Here are a few examples 👇

🦶 Heel pain? Plantar fasciitis is one possible cause.

🦶 Ankle pain? Sprains, tendon problems and other conditions can cause pain here.

🦶 Shin pain? Shin splints are one possible cause, especially with increased activity.

These are just a few examples — foot and leg pain can have many different causes.

📌 Save this post for later.

If your pain keeps coming back or isn’t improving, a podiatrist can help identify what’s causing it.

You know that thing you’ve been putting off?

The one you keep saying, “I’ll get around to it.”

Maybe today’s the day.

Your feet will thank you.

Think you’ve found the perfect shoe? 👀 Think again.

Before you buy your next pair, run through this 3-step shoe check 👟

✔️ Can it flex?
✔️ Is there enough room in the toe box?
✔️ Is the heel firm?

The right shoe isn’t just about how it looks — it’s about how it works for your feet.

📌 SAVE this for your next shoe shop.
👟 SEND it to someone who always buys shoes for the looks.

3 things I’d NEVER do as a Podiatrist 👀

When you know what can happen, you don’t take any chances.

Guilty of any? 😅

Meet Omar. 30 seconds. 👀

We put Omar on the spot with some very important questions.

Some answers were expected.
One definitely wasn’t 👀

You feel fine. Then you run. 💀

C2S was a few days ago. Your first run back shouldn’t leave your Achilles hurting.

Ease back into running. If the pain persists or gets worse, get it assessed.

Send this to your mate who couldn’t wait to run again. 🏃‍♂️

C2S: YOUR KNEES BE LIKE … 💀

14km. Hills. Downhills. Fatigue.

And suddenly… our knees regret it.

Those downhill sections can put extra load through your knees - especially when fatigue kicks in.

A little post- race soreness? Give your body time to recover.

Still painful after a few days, getting worse, or affecting how you walk or run? Get it assessed.

Tag the one who underestimated those hills.

Ankle pain when running? 🏃‍♂️

Your ankle absorbs thousands of impacts every time you run. If the tissues around your ankle can’t handle the load, pain can develop.

The peroneal tendons on the outside of your ankle help control movement and keep you stable with every stride.

Build ankle strength with:
✅ Calf-raises
✅ Single-leg balance

📌Save this for your next run
