Spring should feel like sunshine, longer days and blooming flowers. 🌸
Not tissues, itchy eyes and constant sneezing. 🤧

Ever caught yourself saying...

"I never used to react like this."

You're not imagining it. Allergies and sensitivities can change over time, and sometimes it's not just about what's in the air—it's about how much your body is already carrying.

Think of it like a bucket.

Everyday stressors can slowly fill it:
• Pollen 🌾
• Foods 🍞
• Chemicals 🧴
• Gut health 🦠
• Inflammation 🔥

When that bucket becomes too full, something that was once manageable may suddenly become the thing that tips it over.

Our Advanced Allergy Protocol uses the QEST4 Bioenergetic System to explore potential stress patterns related to allergens while also looking at immune function, inflammation, gut health and detoxification pathways. It's a targeted consultation designed to support your body's natural ability to rebalance.

If this spring has you reaching for tissues instead of enjoying the sunshine, we'd love to help you explore another approach.

Book an initial appointment with Debi (or an Advanced Allergy Protocol appointment if you've already seen her) to explore what your body might be responding to.

As we move into Djilba, the Noongar season that marks the beginning of spring, the world around us begins to shift. Wildflowers emerge, the days slowly become longer, and nature reminds us that growth doesn't happen all at once—it begins with small, steady changes. While the cold mornings may not make spring feel close, subtle changes are already happening beneath the surface, reminding us that growth often begins long before we see the results.

After the slower rhythm of winter, this is an invitation to reset.

Not by pushing harder or trying to become a "new you," but by checking in with your body and returning to the daily habits that support your wellbeing.

The most meaningful changes often begin with the basics.

Eating nourishing food, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, moving your body, or simply pausing to take a slow, deep breath. They're not always the most exciting or novel practices, but there's a reason we return to them so often.

Without these foundations, everything else has less to build on.

Slowing down doesn't always require a weekend away or a complete lifestyle overhaul.

Sometimes it's the smallest changes that have the biggest impact.

This weekend, try one of these:

✨ Leave your phone in another room while you eat.
✨ Take a 10-minute walk without headphones.
✨ Go to bed 30 minutes earlier.
✨ Sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee without distractions.
✨ Schedule a break into your day and actually take it.
✨ Spend five minutes doing absolutely nothing.

Small moments of stillness help remind your nervous system that it's safe to slow down.

Which one will you try first?

Life is full of interruptions. Learning to lean into them is part of the art of living.
Yes hassle free days can be easier, but there are unexpected moments of joy in an interruption.
The art of enjoying an imperfect day, of making all the little moments count is what life's all about.

Most of us are good at responding to a crisis.

A cold.
Burnout.
Exhaustion.
An injury.
A sleepless week.

What we're often less skilled at is responding before we reach that point.

We wait until our body demands rest instead of choosing it proactively.

But rest isn't something we EARN once we've done "enough"

It's something we need regularly to maintain our energy, resilience and wellbeing.

This winter, consider what might change if you rested before you were exhausted.

What if you didn't wait until your body forced you to slow down?

🌿 A gentle reminder: recovery is part of the process, not a reward for surviving it.

Why Remedial Massage?

Angie's path into remedial massage began with a background in clinical nutrition and a fascination with how the body adapts, communicates and responds to the demands of everyday life.

While nutrition plays an important role in wellbeing, Angie could see that true health often requires a holistic approach. Physical movement, stress, and lifestyle all influence how we feel day to day.

This understanding led her to remedial massage therapy.

One of the things Angie loves most about her work is helping people better understand their bodies and creating a space where they can step away from the constant demands of life for a moment. In a world where many of us are always "on"—juggling responsibilities, deadlines and endless to-do lists—massage can offer an opportunity to slow down, switch off and reconnect.

For Angie, treatment isn't just about relieving physical tension. It's about supporting the whole person, helping clients feel calmer, more comfortable and more connected to themselves.

As part of our June Practitioner Spotlight, enjoy 10% off all remedial massage appointments with Angie throughout the month.

This winter, you have permission to...

🌿 Go to bed earlier.

🌿 Say no to plans when you need rest.

🌿 Spend a rainy afternoon reading a book.

🌿 Take a day off social media.

🌿 Leave some space in your calendar.

🌿 Rest before you're exhausted.

🌿 Move a little slower.

🌿 Prioritise recovery.

In a culture that celebrates being busy, choosing rest can feel uncomfortable.

But nature doesn't bloom all year round.

Winter has a purpose too.

Save this as your permission slip for the season ahead. ❄️
