I love adding our Young Living oils to dips and drinks and sauces and smoothies to create the most extraordinary flavours. Just watching the "WOW!" expression on someone's face as they try it and their tastebuds start dancing....well, that's such a great feeling.

But I have NEVER thought of anything like this....and that's why I want to share it with you. Just imagine a dip containing such exotics as nettles, dandelion leaf, chickweed and carrot tops.

The key to introducing any animal to essential oils is to start slowly, in a relaxed and joyful situation. That way your dog (or other furry or feathered friend) will associate essential oils with pampering and good feelings.

Then, when you are faced with a difficult situation, you can use your essential oils and your dog will not only experience a wide range of benefits from the oils, but will also remember that these oils "feel good".

When I first started with Young Living, I had no idea of the treasure chest of wisdom and learning I was stepping into. It really has been an amazing journey of discovery.

Today, I want to talk about an essential oil blend that is incredibly popular within the Young Living range. It’s one of the original oil blends that Gary Young created in 1984, long before he started Young Living Essential Oils.

It's amazing that I feel as excited about using essential oils today as I did in September 1998 when I first started using them, and saw first-hand how powerful they are.

It's not often that a love affair spans decades like that, without the flame dwindling even a fraction.

Today, I want to share with you about an experience I had in 2003, where one of our Young Living blends opened me up to a very profound experience of animal communication.

One of the highlights of my recent trip was the opportunity to visit Young Living's Croatian distillery and warehouse in Split, and the new Helichrysum farm.

Every time I visit a Young Living farm, I'm in awe of the people who work there. They are so passionate about their plants, the distillation process, and all the many steps that create an exceptional quality essential oil - one that we will LOVE to use.

This trip was no different. I learned so much fun stuff about the art of distillation - things I had never heard before. I videoed a wonderful presentation by one of the staff there (Nicolas Landel), and I have merged his information with my own understanding of distillation in this week's bulletin.
