🚨 Important Notice for Hearing Aid & Cochlear Implant Users

If you use Bluetooth-connected hearing aids or a cochlear implant processor, please be aware of the upcoming AusAlert emergency warning system test.

📅 Date: Monday, 27 July 2026
🕑 Time: 2:00 pm AEST

During the test, compatible mobile phones will play a 10-second emergency alert siren. If your hearing devices are connected to your phone via Bluetooth, the alert may stream directly into your hearing aids or cochlear implant processor and could sound unexpectedly loud.

To reduce the chance of being startled, you may wish to:
🔹 Turn off Bluetooth on your phone around 10 minutes before 2:00 pm so the alert plays through your phone’s speaker instead.
🔹 Or briefly remove your hearing aids or cochlear implant processor just before the test.

Oceans of Support is seeking a reliable and compassionate Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Moreton Bay area.
Our participant would like a young male support worker with a genuine interest in health and fitness our participant to engage in the community every Tuesday afternoon (3 hours).
Additional weekend shifts available on an on-call basis for the right applicant.

We’re looking for someone who’s friendly, respectful, easy to get along with, and knows how to build great connections while keeping healthy boundaries.
Experience supporting children and young people with ASD will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements:�✔ Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in disability support�✔ Current First Aid and CPR certification�✔ Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Modules�✔ Current Yellow Card and Blue Card�✔ Current open driver’s licence with a clean driving history�✔ Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
