Community access is so much more than getting from A to B.

For many people, it's about building confidence, maintaining independence, creating meaningful connections and simply enjoying life. Whether it's grabbing a coffee, attending appointments, or for this client a trip to the museum and park, these moments can have a huge impact on someone's wellbeing.

As support workers, every outing is an opportunity to build independence, create memories and remind someone that they're a valued part of their community.

On Monday 27th July at 2pm the Australian Government is launching AusAlert – a new national warning system that uses the latest technology to send emergency messages to compatible mobile devices.

This is just a test, no action is needed!

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, AusAlert may:
- vibrate your device and turn on your screen
- be heard through hearing aids or cochlear implants
- work with other assistive technologies, such as bed shakers.

If you are blind or have low vision, AusAlert may:
- read the message aloud if text-to-speech is turned on
- work with other assistive technologies such as refreshable braille displays and screen magnification tools.

We're looking for a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and support a wonderful client in the Northgate area.

🕒 Current hours:
• Tuesday: 11:00am – 1:00pm
• Thursday: 11:00am – 2:00pm
With opportunities for hours to increase over time.

To be considered, you'll need:
✔ Current Blue Card
✔ Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
✔ Current First Aid & CPR
✔ Current National Police Check
No Cert III is required for this position.
