Yesterday we celebrated our beautiful new centre. Today, we’re celebrating the team who makes Harmony feel like Harmony.

While the building may be new, many of the faces aren’t. Whether you’re walking through the front door, calling to make an appointment or receiving care behind the scenes, you’ll continue to see and hear the familiar people you know.

We’re incredibly proud to have built a strong team across reception, nursing, management and administration, with many of our staff having been part of the Harmony journey for a long time.

They keep the phones answered, appointments moving, patients cared for and a million things happening behind the scenes every day.

A significant milestone for Harmony Family Medical Centre 💚

Today we officially opened our new privately funded, multimillion-dollar, state-of-the-art Medical Centre in Cairns.

What began in 2022 with Dr Raj and Dr Gagan and a vision for accessible, patient-centred healthcare has grown from two GPs to six, with more appointments, more services and greater capacity to care for Cairns families.

We were honoured to be joined by Nita Green - Senator for Queensland and Matt Smith MP, along with healthcare leaders, project partners, community stakeholders, our team, family and supporters to celebrate the opening.

Most importantly, this investment is about creating the capacity to care for more people.

Harmony is fully bulk billing and welcoming new patients.
