A SMALL INJURY CAN BECOME A BIG ONE
This is exactly why I tell people don’t ignore the little injuries.
Nicky rolled her ankle more than 10 years ago. It never really returned to normal. Years later, that same ankle was injured again — this time, it broke.
Think of your body like your car.
If your wheel alignment is out, you don’t just keep driving it indefinitely. The tyres wear unevenly, other components are loaded differently, and over time you can create bigger problems through the suspension and steering.
Your body is no different.
An ankle roll may seem minor, but if normal movement, strength and mechanics aren’t restored, the way you load that foot and leg can change. Your body compensates, and those compensations can travel up through the knee, hip, pelvis and spine.
👉 The message: service your body like you service your car.
Don’t wait until the warning light becomes a breakdown.
Nicky’s words say the rest. After years of problems, she’s now comfortably doing short jogs again — something she genuinely thought she’d never do.
Look after the small stuff before it becomes the big stuff. 🔧🏃♀️
