Speech pathology week is a week dedicated to raise awareness for those in our community with communication difficulties.
This years theme is ‘Communicating for Life’
This theme aims to highlight the vital role that speech pathologists play across the lifespan from birth to early language all the way to age care. 1 in 7 Australians will face a communication difficulty within their life and the 2023 theme emphasises the unique skills and qualities that certified practicing speech pathology members hold to support these Australians.
