Having a great time at The National Play Therapy Conference in Darwin this week. The theme for the conference is:

"Children play it better than they say it"

Its amazing to see the way that Play Therapy is used is so many different ways outside the scope of regular clients.

Can't wait to bring my new knowledge back and apply it to supporting clients at Kate Fisher Play Therapy in Term 3, 2023.

Back in The Playroom this week after a little trip to London for The Women Changing the World Global Summit and Awards.

Outside my Play Therapy practice, I am also the host and executive producer of a podcast called Milkshakes for Marleigh and a fierce blood donation advocate.

Listen to Milkshakes for Marleigh on Spotify. Stories of blood donors and their recipients. If you have ever been a blood or breastmilk donor, you could have been the one who saved, prolonged or improved the quality of life for our guest each week.

I had a little refresh of the resources in The Playroom this week. I love creating the space for little people to explore their trauma, work on their pro-social skills and strengthen their sense of identity.
What a privilege it is the be given a window to their inner world!

Adults often communicate their struggles with words, children communicate through play.
