First of all, we see you. Pregnancy fatigue is real, and doing it through a chilly period makes it even harder to find the motivation to move your body.

So do you still need to exercise? The honest answer is that some movement is almost always better than none, but that doesn't mean pushing through exhaustion to get a workout in.

It means listening to your body and finding what feels manageable on any given day. On the days you have energy, gentle exercise during pregnancy can actually help with fatigue, improve your sleep, support your pelvic floor and help prepare your body for birth.

On the days you don't, rest is just as valid. A short walk, a prenatal class, some light stretching: it all counts.

And if you're unsure what's right for your body at your stage of pregnancy, that's exactly what we're here for. Book in with one of our physios and we'll help you figure out what movement should look like for you right now 💛🤰

Exciting news for our mums and mums-to-be, our pre and postnatal classes are now running inside Hale Gym as part of our collaboration with the Hale team.

Our small group classes are designed so that every woman gets the individual attention she needs. Think the support of a one-on-one session with the energy of a group setting. It's a combination we absolutely love, and we think you will too.

Head to the link in our bio to find out more about our classes and book your place in the next intake 💛

See you soon!

One of our favourite things about our new space? Our clinic and classes are now all under the same roof 🙌

Same clinicians, same standard of care, just a brand new space that brings everything together in a way that makes so much sense. Whether you're coming in for a treatment or joining us for a class, you'll find us all in the same place at The Brassey Hotel in Barton.

Book a consult or learn more about our classes through the link in bio.

Yes... but probably not in the way you've been told.

The "eating for two" idea has led a lot of women to feel like pregnancy is an all-or-nothing situation with food, when really what your body needs is quality, not just quantity.

Your nutritional requirements do increase during pregnancy, but the focus is on getting enough of the right things (like folate, iron, omega-3s, and calcium) rather than just eating
more of everything.

Our dietitian, Ellen works with women at every stage of pregnancy and beyond to build a way of eating that feels nourishing, realistic and genuinely enjoyable. Because food should still be one of the good parts 🥑

One thing I’d never do as a women’s health physio?
Skip a pelvic floor assessment during pregnancy.

Your body is changing in the most incredible ways but that also means your pelvic floor is under more load than usual. Understanding how it’s functioning (and how to support it) can make such a difference for pregnancy, birth, and recovery.

A pelvic floor assessment isn’t something to feel nervous about. It’s a safe, supportive way to check in with your body and feel more confident moving forward.

If you’re pregnant, this is one of the best ways you can proactively support your body 🐣
