Kate Reed-Cox describing the benefits of the DHR link allowing our clinicians at Next Practice Deakin and Next Practice Community - South Tuggeranong access with consent records from Canberra Health Services for a more joined up approach to care.

Canberrans have access to better connected healthcare with more than 70% of ACT general practices now registered with DHR Link.

DHR Link is part of the ACT’s Digital Health Record (DHR) which stores your health information, including medical records and treatment plans, safely in one place.

With your written consent, authorised staff at registered general practices can also securely access your ACT public health record through DHR Link.

This means doctors can quickly get the information they need, when they need it.

Patients can then receive better coordinated care as they move between health services, including, general practices, public hospitals, community health centres and walk-in centres.
