My old man gave me a beautiful Wi******er semi-auto .22 when I was about 21. Back then everyone had a rifle on the farm.

One day I’m out shooting random bits of junk and a shell jams in the chamber. Won’t eject.

So naturally, instead of stopping and thinking like a normal person, I grab a long stick and poke it down the barrel to knock the shell out.

Stick snaps off inside the barrel.

Now at this point, a smart man would take the rifle apart.

But not me.

I thought:
“No problem… I’ll just fire another round through it. That should push the stick out.”

So I pulled the trigger.

BOOM.

Tiny explosion.
Huge bulge in the barrel.
Rifle completely destroyed.

Dad’s beautiful Wi******er turned into a cartoon prop in under five seconds.

What an idiot.
