I have since had another beautiful boy and started Grounded Motion. I started Grounded Motion because I believe that with the right input our bodies, minds and spirits can thrive. Picture this…

Six days on the beautiful coast of Jervis Bay, alongside 10 other incredible women.

You wake up to the sound of the ocean and realise there’s nothing you need to organise, remember, plan or hold together for anyone else. Just space to move, rest, laugh, connect and rediscover yourself beneath the endless demands of everyday life.

You stop waiting for life to slow down and create that space for yourself.

This isn’t just a holiday.

It’s an opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself. To move your body, reflect on what matters, gain perspective and return home feeling rested, grounded and clear on what you need.

Over six days, I’ll guide you through yoga, workshops, a whale swim, stargazing and plenty of opportunities to simply be. No rushing. No pressure. Just the space to slow down and nourish yourself.

Spaces are limited to just 11 women.

I’d love for you to join us.

If this sounds like exactly what you’ve been craving, now is the time to reach out. Early Bird pricing ends in just a couple of weeks and places are limited.

Comment below and I’ll send the details straight to you.

I spent yesterday starting to install the kitchen section into the extension. It is very exciting for me to be at the point that we can start putting the kitchen in not going to lie. It’s probably the part of the extension. I’m the most excited about more kitchen!

My shoulder is still a limitation, but I’m finding ways to work around it and I’m getting a little more range of motion every day!

My shoulder is still very much a work in progress, but I’m looking forward to sharing some gentle movement, rest and connection with you this month.

I’m especially excited to be bringing Balance & Play to Batemans Bay. This workshop will be a little different, with Tim joining me to both participate and help demonstrate some of the movements that my shoulder still isn’t quite ready for. It’s going to be a fun few hours, and I can’t wait to share it with a new community.

I’m also thrilled to be bringing back both of my deeply restorative offerings.

Rest Deeply will be my first session back since before our Munda Biddi trip and my shoulder injury. Unfortunately, I’ve had to cancel the last two months, but now that I’m firmly in recovery mode and gradually rebuilding strength and range of motion, I’m looking forward to returning to this practice with you.

Slow Sunday is making a comeback too. I’m still finalising the location, but it will be held locally and I’ll share the details soon. Slow Sunday will now be a two-hour experience, giving us even more time to slow down, settle in and rest deeply.

Finally, if you’ve been curious about the Rhythms of Nature Retreat, I’d love for you to join me on 18 June for my second retreat information session. I’ll be sharing all the details, answering your questions and talking about what is shaping up to be a truly incredible week away. If you can’t join live, a recording will be sent out afterwards.

Early Bird pricing ends on 25 June, so this is a great opportunity to learn more about the retreat, ask your questions, and secure your place before prices increase by $500.

I can’t wait to move, rest, and connect with you this month.

Just a little update around my shoulder recovery!
I’m officially 6 weeks post op and my bone is healed sufficiently for me to get rid of the sling (it’s going in to the boys costume box) and start the rehab process! 🎉

I’ll try share updates along the way!

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately because I’ve been having a hard time the last couple of weeks.

I’ve been struggling with the impacts of my shoulder injury on day-to-day life.

The pain, the way it affects my sleep, my capacity to move, how hard everything is one-handed, especially with my non-dominant hand, and the restrictions it has placed on the way I move.

A key part of my self-care practice is moving my body. I normally go to the gym 4–5 mornings a week. I practice yoga. I run. I ride my bike. I move. And this shoulder injury has significantly reduced my capacity to do most of those things.

While my lower body isn’t impacted by this injury, the significant restrictions from breaking my shoulder have completely changed the way I move and my capacity to cope with things at the moment.

So lately, I’ve noticed I’ve been binge watching TV shows to try and cope.

This is just an honest little update on how I am right now, as I usually tend to only share the ups and not the downs.

If this is your vibe… this retreat is for you.

Rhythms of Nature is for women craving space to slow down, move, rest, spend time in nature, and reconnect with themselves away from the constant doing of everyday life.

It’s not about being “good” at yoga, needing to be super fit, or having retreat experience. It’s about coming as you are.

Over six days in Jervis Bay we’ll move, rest, laugh, explore, eat beautiful food, spend time in nature, and create space to breathe a little deeper again.

And if you’re curious but want to know more first, I’d love for you to come along to the online information session. I’ll be chatting through what the retreat is all about, who it’s for, what the days will look like, and answering any questions you might have.

You can come live or catch the replay afterwards.
