In Japan, we have a saying about staying grounded.

To me, that journey begins with the feet.

Before every treatment, I take a quiet moment to honour the trust that has been placed in me and to begin with intention.

Every session begins with presence.

May this be a moment to reconnect with your body.

Sometimes, the body doesn’t need more force.

It needs someone who truly understands what they’re feeling beneath the surface.

We’re so grateful to receive words like this about Johan’s work.

His approach combines careful assessment, deep knowledge, and hands-on experience to support the body in a way that feels both precise and grounding.

“His treatments have made the most significant difference to my back of any treatments I have had anywhere.”

Thank you for your trust.

One of our lovely regular clients booked a session for her mum’s birthday today 🤍

Before she arrived, I quietly prepared the room, the towels, and a warm foot bath for her.

Later, I received this message:

"Hi Izumi, thank you so much for looking after my precious mum on her birthday today. She called me after and she told me she hadn't had a reflexology like the one you provided in years. She was so calm and relaxed. She can't believe she hadn't seen you sooner. I knew she'd love it 😘 my next job is to get my brother to you haha and then you will nearly have had the whole family!"

Shared with permission 💛

Moments like this mean so much to us.

Thank you for trusting us with the people you love.

Yarralumla.
To me, as a Japanese person, the name almost feels like “Yarral-Mura.”

In Japanese, mura (村) means “village” — a small, welcoming place where people gather and life moves a little more gently.

And that’s exactly how Yarralumla feels to me.

A beautiful little village filled with lovely local places.

Three cafés, Nunie Boutique,
beautiful sushi, w**e, kebabs, Italian food,
a chemist, post office, and supermarket.
Everything quietly gathered together.

Our space is tucked away upstairs,
on the second floor of the building at the heart of it all.

Step inside
Leave it behind
Let the noise fade
Let it soften
Follow the quiet
Almost there
Welcome back

Your nervous system remembers what safety feels like.

Sometimes the body doesn’t need more pressure.

It needs a slower pace.

A quieter space.

A moment where it no longer has to stay alert.

This is the intention behind my work.

Not forcing relaxation, but creating enough safety for the body to soften naturally.

Japanese Head Massage
for deep rest, grounding, and reconnection.

Happy Mother’s Day 2026🌿
Today at Mumfest,
we offered free head massages at the market.
So many mums, a few dads, and even some little ones came to slow down with us.

In the middle of the noise and movement,
we shared small quiet moments together.

And today reminded us of something too,
we are mothers as well.

Healing,
and being healed.

Thank you to everyone who received our touch today 🤍

Thank you, mums💐
おかあさん有難う💐
