Members of our team recently attended the Family Relationship Services Australia National Conference 2026 in Brisbane.

The conference theme, Showcasing: Practice, Evidence, Impact, highlighted the important work happening across the family and relationship services sector and the difference this work makes for children, families and communities.

The conference was a valuable opportunity to connect with others across the sector, hear new ideas and reflect on evidence-informed practice.

We are grateful for the conversations, insights and perspectives shared, and the opportunity to bring these learnings back into our work with individuals, families and communities. 💙

Today we mark National Sorry Day.

A day to pause, reflect and and deepen our understanding of Australia's history and its continuing impacts today.

Designed by former staff member and proud Ngunnawal man, Budda Connors, the goanna represents freedom from troubles and healing.

RACR are committed to reconciliation and walking alongside First Nations peoples with respect.

We acknowledge the strength, resilience and continuing cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We remember the Stolen Generations and recognise the ongoing impacts of forced child removal on individuals, families and communities.

If today raises personal impacts for you please call 13 YARN for 24/7 support.

We were so excited to attend a sneak peek 👀 of the new Gungahlin Community Centre and Youth Hub, the future permanent home of Gunners Place.

Purpose-built as a youth activity and community space, the centre includes inclusive hireable spaces, art studios, a gallery, dance studio, kitchen facilities, outdoor green space and public art. 🎨

Gunners Place is delivered by a consortium, working together to provide youth activities, programs and drop-in sessions for young people aged 12 to 25.

The centre officially opens on 6th July, with soft launch activities to be shared by the Gunners Place team. 💙

We were pleased to attend the ACT Men & Boys Summit in April.

The Summit brought together a range of organisations and community leaders to discuss how we can better support men and boys across the ACT, with a focus on connection, wellbeing, accountability and positive change.

It was a valuable opportunity to be part of the conversation and connect with others working in this space.

We look forward to continuing this work alongside the broader working group. 💙

As part of our Women: Reclaim group in Wagga Wagga, participants created a Strengths Wall together over the eight weeks of the program.

Throughout the group, women shared the strengths they see in themselves and each other, offering encouragement and reflecting on their hopes and plans for the future.

The wall became a simple reflection of the connection and support that developed within the group, and a reminder of the strengths each person brings. 🌻
