🌿 WE’RE HIRING – DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS 🌿

The Farm Disability Connections is looking for passionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team!

Essential Requirements:
✅ Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
✅ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
✅ Current First Aid & CPR
✅ Experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
✅ Current driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred)

About the Role:
We’re looking for support workers who are willing to:

Work within our farm-based disability program
Provide 1:1 community access support
Work weekend shifts and respite shifts as required
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support

Join me in making a difference for foster kids!
Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, and confident in their future, but for many children in foster care, that is far from reality.

Frequent moves between homes and schools can disrupt their learning, relationships, and sense of stability. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting effects on their education, wellbeing, and future opportunities.

That is why we are taking part in National Pyjama Day.

By wearing our PJs and raising funds, we are helping The Pyjama Foundation give children in foster care something truly life changing: a dedicated Pyjama Angel mentor.

Your donation will help recruit, screen, train, and match a “Pyjama Angel” with a child who needs them most. These volunteer mentors do more than read books or help with homework. They build trust, confidence, and a love of learning that can change the course of a child’s life.

Together, we can help children in foster care dream bigger and believe in themselves.

Participants and staff headed to Clyde Bunnings this morning to join with the Bunnings staff tia for a arts and crafts work shop painting canvas, we couldn’t thank Clyde Bunnings enough for the donations for the farm! . 🎨🖌️🖼️

Welcome to The Farm Disability Connections 🌿

For those that are new to following us, we are a disability support farm located in Cannons Creek, offering a safe, welcoming and hands-on environment where participants can learn, grow and connect with nature and animals. Our programs are designed to support individual goals through meaningful activities such as animal care, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, woodworking, and community participation.

We offer:
• Group programs and 1:1 supports
• Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 4:00pm
• Activities such as animal care, cooking, arts and crafts, gardening, woodwork, and community outings
• Weekend activities and monthly social dinners to encourage social connection and fun

We’re passionate about building confidence, independence, and social connection in a relaxed farm setting where everyone is valued and included.

🌟 We currently have capacity to welcome new participants!
