What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a physio treatment used to help relieve muscle pain, reduce tension, and improve movement.

A very fine, sterile needle is inserted into tight or sensitive areas of a muscle, often called "trigger points." This can help release muscle tightness, improve blood flow, and encourage the body's natural healing response.

Dry needling may help with:
✨ Muscle tightness and stiffness
✨ Sports injuries
✨ Neck and back pain
✨ Headaches caused by muscle tension
✨ Tendon pain
✨ Improving flexibility and movement

Many people notice the muscle relax almost immediately, although it's normal to experience some mild soreness for 24–48 hours after treatment.

If you're dealing with persistent aches, tight muscles, or limited movement, dry needling may be a helpful addition to your treatment plan.

Speak with our team to find out if dry needling is right for you.

Menopause brings many changes to the body, and your pelvic floor is no exception.

As estrogen levels decline, the muscles and tissues that support your bladder, bowel, and pelvic organs can become weaker. This may contribute to symptoms such as bladder leakage, urgency, pelvic heaviness, or discomfort—but these changes are common, and support is available.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy can help improve strength, function, and confidence, with treatment tailored to your individual needs.

If you're experiencing symptoms during menopause, you don't have to manage them alone. A pelvic health physiotherapist can help.
