I have had a do over day it is not quite Groundhog Day, but that peculiar feeling that the universe has pressed the repeat button!
You put the washing on, only to discover you pressed pause not start . You unload the dishwasher and realise it never actually ran.
You leave the house, turn around for your keys, leave again, and suddenly wonder where your phone is!
Astrologically, this is the sort of experience people often associate with Mercury, the planet traditionally linked with communication, memory, routines and everyday logistics.
We’re also approaching Mercury’s next retrograde period, beginning around 24 October 2026. In astrological traditions, the lead up is called the pre retrograde shadow, a time symbolically associated with revisiting, reviewing and repeating things.
A reminder to slow down and be present easy said than done whilst kid wrangling in the mornings.
