These very strong winds in SEQ have wreaked havoc! Many trees have fallen, power lines down! Remember, in acupuncture terms, the wind creates immense problems with hay fever/rhinitis. Referred to as pathogenic Qi, wind affects our bodies by “entering” via our neck region. To help reduce this, wear a scarf even, indoors. A point high on the neck is called “Fengfu, Wind Mansion” known as Du 16, then a second point called “Feng Men, Wind Gate”!! This is known as UB 12. By stimulating both of these points greatly reduces the intense effect of this seasonal wind.
