Have you ever wondered what your perfect cup of tea would taste like if you created it yourself? What would you put in it? What would it mean? And, most importantly… what would you call it?

Then this is the workshop for you.

Join Annie and Amy for a very special Tea with Annie x Crafternoon Tea Blending Workshop, where tea, creativity and a little bit of intuition come together for an afternoon of making something entirely your own.

Together, we’ll explore different teas, herbs, flowers, flavours and their traditional meanings before you begin experimenting, mixing and blending to create your very own signature tea. And then we will read it!

You’ll taste, play, learn, blend and create, with Amy guiding you through the process and helping you think about not only how your tea tastes, but what you want your blend to represent. And then Annie will guide you through her family traditions of foresight in the tea leaves.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own personally crafted tea blend to take home, along with a little more knowledge about the beautiful ritual of tea leaf reading.

There are some things I will always love seeing in a teacup. After all these years of reading tea leaves, there are certain symbols and stories that make me smile the moment they begin appearing in a cup. Not because every cup needs to predict something spectacular, but because sometimes it’s lovely to see a little sign that life is moving in the right direction.

Love is always a beautiful one. And love doesn’t necessarily mean a handsome stranger is about to gallop into your life. Love can be romantic, absolutely, but it can also be friendship, family, reconnection, a new community or even finding your way back to something you genuinely love doing. When love shows itself in the leaves, I’m looking at where it sits, what surrounds it and what kind of love story the cup is actually telling.

Then there’s success. I love seeing those wonderful signs that say yes, keep going. Success in a cup isn’t always fame, fortune and winning the lottery. Sometimes success is getting the job. Finishing the thing. Having the conversation. Getting the answer you’ve been waiting for. Sometimes the cup simply shows that all the work you’ve been quietly putting in is actually leading somewhere.

One of my absolute favourites is relief. That beautiful moment when you can finally breathe out. The difficult period passes. The pressure eases. Something gets resolved. The thing you’ve been carrying becomes lighter. Relief might not sound as glamorous as love or success, but when you’ve been waiting for it, it can be the very best thing I can possibly tell you.

I also love seeing advancement. Movement, growth and the sense that you’re not going to be standing in exactly the same place forever. Advancement can be career, money, study, relationships, personal growth or simply moving into the next chapter of your life. It’s that wonderful feeling of the cup saying there’s more ahead for you.

And of course, travel. A road, a journey, movement across water, a change of scenery or an adventure somewhere completely different. Travel symbols always make a cup feel exciting because they represent movement beyond what you already know, and sometimes the journey they’re talking about is much bi

Not many people know that I’m a mum. I have several little tiny people that I adore, cook for, and kiss goodnight.

And this happened so I couldn’t let it be missed. Oh my gosh the cuteness of the tiny hands!

The didn’t just steal my LEGO.
Someone stole part of my future this morning.

This morning, my LEGO and tubs of tea cups were stolen. And while the LEGO hurts, the cups are something else entirely. These aren’t just cups. They’re part of me. They’re the cups I use to teach workshops, run classes, tell stories and, quite literally, tell the future. Some have travelled with me, been held by students, had fortunes read from them and become part of the strange little world I’ve spent years building. And now, most of them are simply… gone.

Should I have seen it coming? Well. Awkwardly, I technically did. I had a feeling, noticed something, and chose to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Heck no will I be doing that again.

So, I’m doing something with what I have left. The last remaining Annie’s Cups are now available to buy. My LEGO is stolen!!

Help me get it back!!! Because the silly idiots also stole my AirTag.

Some time in the last 24-48 hours, someone smashed open my car window, swiped my WORK LEGO. And my collection of working tea cups.

Duckers.

And despite the air tag, and the suspicious numberplateless car located near said air tag, and so many other things, I am unable to retrieve my LEGO, or more importantly, my tea cups.
Yes, I did just say tea cups were more important than LEGO.

Help me people, help me FIND MY LEGO! Building Mindfulness

MY LEGO WAS STOLEN THIS MORNING!! PT 1.

Listen up beautiful humans,
This morning I was going to work at uni to teach Building Mindfulness and when I got to my door, it was open.

I opened my car to it having been rifled though; papers everywhere, coins gone, and most importantly, my work tools completely missing.

My whole practice as a LEGO mindfulness practitioner is about calm, respect and kindness, and some time this morning my space was violated and my crappy bulk kids LEGO was stolen.

What the heck do I do now?! It’s so surreal! I know Melbourne is struggling at the moment, but holy wow.

Please please please share and follow along so I can try and get these things back. Because they didn’t just steal my LEGO friends, they also stole my one of a kind, custom tea cups and saucers! With my flipping names on them! And a tracking device. 😅
