Post 5 of 5 – Building Connection and Confidence
Connection is essential for wellbeing — but it isn’t always easy.
Sophie supports people to develop social and communication skills, build confidence, and strengthen their sense of self.
She also works with families to better understand mental health conditions and advocates for the needs of people living with psychosocial disabilities.
💬 “Recovery looks different for everyone. My role is to help people find what feels meaningful and achievable for them.” – Sophie

Post 1 of 5 – What does a Mental Health OT do?
👋 Meet Sophie, our Mental Health Occupational Therapist.
She supports people living with a range of psychosocial conditions including anxiety, depression, psychosis, PTSD, alcohol and other drug use disorder, and neurodivergence such as ADHD, sensory processing differences, and autism.
Sophie works alongside people to explore what’s most important to them — and the barriers that make daily life harder. Together, they find practical, evidence-based ways to improve wellbeing and function.
💬 Got a question about how OT can support your mental health journey? Comment, email, or call us!
