But what is Daffodil Day?

Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s iconic fundraising campaign, raising vital funds to support life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services for people affected by cancer.

The daffodil is a symbol of hope – a reminder that together, we can work towards a future where cancer no longer has such a devastating impact.

Sadly, almost everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer. Daffodil Day is an opportunity to show our support for those currently facing cancer, remember those we have lost, and recognise the families, carers and health professionals supporting people along the way.

🌿 WELCOME MICHELLE ELIAS! 🌿

We’re delighted to welcome Michelle Elias, Registered General Psychologist, to St Mary Medical Centre, working with Key To Life Psychology. 💙

📅 Michelle will commence with us on Monday, 17 August 2026, and will be available for appointments every Monday and Wednesday at our Carrum Downs clinic.

Michelle works with children, adolescents, adults and older adults, providing compassionate, evidence-based support across a range of areas including:

✨ Anxiety & depression
✨ Stress & adjustment difficulties
✨ Trauma & grief
✨ Emotional regulation & self-esteem
✨ Relationship & life transitions
✨ ADHD & Autism assessments
✨ Learning & developmental assessments
✨ Sleep difficulties & health concerns

Michelle also accepts clients through Mental Health Care Plans (Medicare), TAC, WorkSafe, NDIS (self and plan managed) and Victims of Crime.

💗 Iron Infusions Available at St Mary Medical Centre 💗

Feeling tired, run down or lacking energy? Low iron levels may be contributing to the way you’re feeling.

Iron infusions are available at St Mary Medical Centre for patients who have been assessed by their GP and may benefit from intravenous iron replacement.

Iron infusions can help replenish iron stores and may assist with symptoms associated with iron deficiency, such as:

✨ Poor concentration
✨ Feeling weak or run down

Our experienced clinical team will ensure you are comfortable and monitored throughout your infusion.
