Diamond Women is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of compassionate and caring individuals that seek to provide help and support to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. DPS offers practical assistance in the way of baby and maternity goods, emotional and spiritual support through counselling and group classes to train and equip women and families facing an unplanned pregnan

cy. Through a network of community service organisations we are able to connect our clients to organisations that assist in meeting their medium and long term goals. Diamond Women provides for the relief of anxiety and distress faced by women surrounding an unplanned pregnancy by meeting their immediate and long term needs. Diamond Women works with women, their partners and families to provide long term solutions in the best interest of both themselves and their unborn child. We at Diamond Women believe that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves support, respect, kindness, compassion and care.

When Rielle found out she was pregnant, she was five hours away from anyone she trusted.

What should have been a joyful season became one of the hardest periods of her life.

Perinatal depression hit hard. She felt isolated, overwhelmed, and alone. Even when she searched online for help, she spent weeks trying to convince herself not to make the call.

But eventually, she did.

And on the other end of the phone was someone ready to listen.

Today, more women are reaching out to Diamond Women than ever before. Every month, 60 to 80 women contact us looking for support. Our counsellors are at capacity, and there are women searching for help right now who still haven’t found us.

We’re so excited to announce that Rielle’s story is dropping tomorrow!!

A few years ago, Rielle walked through our doors as a client feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure of where to turn.

Today, Rielle is back at Diamond Women. Not as a client, but as a volunteer helping other women who are walking the same road she once did.
