If I had to choose one thing that's helped me feel my best, it would be strength training.

Not because I enjoy every session.

Not because I'm always motivated.

But because of what it's given me outside the gym.

✨ Confidence in my body.

✨ The ability to keep doing the things I love.

✨ A reminder that getting stronger is about so much more than lifting weights.

The older I get, the more I appreciate feeling capable, resilient and strong.

And that's why I keep coming back to it.

💛 What's one thing that helps you feel your best?

Yesterday I shared a message from a client who told me she's now the strongest she's been since her 30s.

What many people don't realise is that strength wasn't the first thing that changed.

When women return to exercise after years away, they often expect the first results to be physical.

A lower number on the scales.

More muscle definition.

Improved fitness.

But that's rarely what they notice first.

Instead, they start sleeping better.

They have more energy during the day.

They feel more capable.

More confident.

Less overwhelmed.

They begin keeping promises to themselves again.

And that changes the way they approach everything else.

The women who experience the most lasting success aren't usually the ones chasing rapid results.

They're the ones who slowly rebuild trust in themselves.

The physical changes absolutely come.

But often the most important changes happen long before anyone else can see them.

That's one of the reasons I love what I do.

Because helping women feel stronger isn't only about what happens in the gym.

It's about helping them feel stronger in life.

💛 If you've been thinking about getting started again, remember that the first wins might not be the ones you expect.

"I was nervous about starting again after years away from exercise. Keren made me feel completely at ease from the first session. I'm now the strongest I've been since my 30s and I'm 54!"

When I received this message from one of my clients recently, it perfectly captured what so many women feel before they take that first step.

If you've ever thought:

• I'm too old to start.
• Everyone else will be fitter than me.
• I don't even know where to begin.
• What if I can't do what I used to?

Please know that you're not alone.

Many of the women I work with haven't exercised consistently for years. They often arrive feeling nervous, unsure of themselves, and worried they'll be judged.

But here's what often happens when they decide to begin:

✨ They realise they don't have to be fit to start.
✨ They discover that strength can be built at any age.
✨ They begin to trust their bodies again.
✨ They gain confidence that extends far beyond the gym.

Being stronger in your 50s than you were decades earlier isn't just possible.

It's happening.

If you've been waiting for the "right time" to begin again, maybe this is your sign.

You don't have to do it perfectly.
You don't have to do it alone.
You just have to take the first step.

💛 If you're ready to build strength in a supportive environment, send me a message to chat about how I can help.

What's on my shopping list this week? 🛒

If you looked in my trolley this weekend, you'd probably find these:

🥣 Greek yoghurt
🫐 Berries
🥚 Eggs
🍗 Chicken
🐟 Salmon
🌾 Oats
🥦 Vegetables
🌯 Wraps
🍚 Rice
🥜 Nuts

Not because these foods are magic.

Because they make healthy eating easier.

One of the most underrated habits for feeling your best isn't finding the perfect diet.

It's creating an environment that supports the choices you want to make.

For me, weekends are often about setting myself up for the week ahead.

Not through strict meal prep.

Just by making sure I have simple foods on hand that can become easy breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks.

When the fridge is stocked, healthy choices require less effort.

And often, that's what consistency comes down to.

Small things done ahead of time that make the week feel easier.

The scale went up overnight. Now what?

You wake up.

You step on the scales.

And somehow you're 600g heavier than yesterday.

The temptation to assume you've done something wrong. To think your progress has stalled. To start negotiating with yourself about whether it's worth staying on track over the long weekend.

But here's what most people forget:

Body weight can change every single day without any change in body fat.

That number can be influenced by:

• A saltier meal than usual
• Eating more carbohydrates (which naturally store water)
• Hormonal fluctuations
• Digestion slowing down
• Not drinking enough water
• A later dinner
• Poor sleep

None of these means you've suddenly gained 600g of body fat overnight.

In fact, gaining that much body fat in one day would require a very significant calorie surplus.

What you're usually seeing is your body doing normal body things.

And this is especially important to remember heading into a long weekend.

One higher weigh-in doesn't mean the weekend is ruined.

One restaurant meal doesn't erase your progress.

One indulgent day doesn't undo months of consistency.

The goal isn't to have the "perfect" weekend.

The goal is to enjoy it without turning a temporary fluctuation into a reason to give up.

Keep moving.

Eat normally.

Drink your water.

Enjoy the weekend.

Then let your habits do what they've always done.

The scale doesn't tell the whole story. ✨

Most people think coaching is about weight loss.

But the conversations I have with clients usually sound more like this:

"I know what I should be doing... I just can't seem to stick with it."

"I feel like I'm constantly starting over."

"I don't know where to begin anymore."

"Everything feels overwhelming."

"I want to feel stronger and more confident."

If any of those thoughts sound familiar, you're not alone.

Because for most women, the challenge isn't a lack of information.

It's figuring out how to make healthy habits work consistently in real life.

That's where coaching can make all the difference.

Instead of chasing the perfect diet or relying on motivation, we focus on things like:

✔ Creating structure that feels manageable

✔ Building strength and confidence

✔ Developing habits that fit real life

✔ Making nutrition feel simpler, not more complicated

✔ Showing up consistently, even when life gets busy

✔ Reducing the overwhelm that keeps so many people stuck

Because lasting change rarely comes from doing everything perfectly.

It comes from having a plan, knowing what matters most, and continuing to move forward even when things aren't perfect.

Weight loss might be one outcome.

💜But feeling stronger.

💜Having more energy.

💜Feeling in control again.

💜Trusting yourself.

💜Knowing exactly what to do.

Those are often the changes that make the biggest difference.

And they're the things I care about most. ✨

Ever notice how easy it is to focus on the one thing you didn’t do in a realistic week of movement?

The workout you missed.

The walk you planned but didn’t get to.

The day that didn’t go quite how you intended.

Meanwhile, you overlook everything you did do.

✅ You completed your strength sessions

✅ You got out for walks most days

✅ You stayed active throughout the week

✅ You made choices that supported your health more often than not

That’s what a realistic week of movement looks like.

Not a perfect week where every workout happens exactly as planned.

But a week where you move your body consistently, adapt when life gets busy, and keep showing up.

Because progress isn’t built through flawless weeks.

It’s built through realistic ones.

The women who create lasting results aren’t the ones who never miss a workout.

They’re the ones who don’t let one missed workout convince them they’ve failed.

A missed session doesn’t erase the movement you’ve already done.

A busy day doesn’t undo your healthy habits.

It’s simply part of real life.

So if your week hasn’t looked exactly how you hoped, take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

Did you move your body?

Did you fit in some walks?

Did you complete a few strength sessions?

If the answer is yes, you’re probably doing better than you think.

✨ A realistic week of movement is more than enough to make progress

You don't have to love exercise.

One of the biggest myths in the fitness industry is that people who stay consistent somehow wake up excited to exercise every day.

Most don't.

Some mornings you're tired.

Some workouts feel hard.

Some sessions feel average.

And sometimes you'd rather stay on the couch.

The difference isn't that they love every workout.

The difference is they remember why they started.

Because exercise isn't just about burning calories.

It's about feeling stronger.

Having more energy.

Managing stress.

Supporting your health.

Feeling confident in your body.

The women who create lasting results aren't necessarily the most motivated.

They're the ones who keep showing up, even when motivation is nowhere to be found.

You don't have to love every workout.

You just need a reason that's bigger than how you feel in the moment. ✨

What keeps you coming back to exercise?

It's Monday.

And how many times have you told yourself:

"I'll start again on Monday."

Well, Monday is here.

A fresh week.
A clean slate.
A chance to finally get everything right.

But here's the truth...

Monday isn't magic.

It doesn't suddenly make healthy eating easier.
It doesn't instantly create motivation.
It doesn't guarantee you'll feel ready.

Because lasting progress isn't built on perfect Mondays.

It's built on the small choices you make over and over again.

The walk you take after a busy day.
The protein-rich lunch you choose.
The workout you do even when you don't feel like it.
The decision to get back on track after one indulgent meal instead of waiting for next week.

So if you've been waiting for Monday to begin...

This is your reminder that Monday has arrived.

Not to be perfect.

Not to get everything right.

Just to make your next good choice.

Because every meal, every workout and every decision is an opportunity to move forward.

And since it's already Monday...

Why not start today? ✨

People often ask what I do to stay on track.

The truth... I don’t do anything particularly extreme.

And I’m definitely not perfect.

There are weeks when life gets busy, routines get disrupted, and things don’t go exactly to plan.

But there are a handful of habits I keep coming back to because they help me feel my best.

✔️ Strength training

✔️ Walking most days

✔️ Including protein with my meals

✔️ Drinking enough water

✔️ Planning ahead just a little

Not because I’m trying to be perfect.

Not because I never miss a workout or always make the healthiest choice.

But because these habits help me feel stronger, more energised, more organised and more like myself.

The interesting thing is that none of them are complicated.

They’re simple.

They’re sustainable.

And they work when I do them consistently.

Whenever things feel off, I don’t look for a reset, detox or quick fix.

I simply come back to the basics.

Because often it’s the small things we do most often that make the biggest difference. ✨

What’s one habit you keep coming back to because it helps you feel your best?
