Look what I found on one of my adventures…
What do YOU see when you look at this?

I don’t really know why, but the moment I saw this, I thought it was special. It felt like art, like it had been sculpted rather than grown.

I wonder how long it took nature to create it. Where it’s been - who has just passed it by without a second glance.

It now lives in my studio alongside all the other little treasures I’ve collected and been gifted from the Earth over the years.
Things that most people might walk straight past, but for some reason make me stop and go… ooooo look at you :)

Our Heartworks Lomi Lomi 4-Day Immersion Retreat isn’t only for people who want to become massage therapists.

In thank, many of our students have never massaged previously. Some do come to learn a new skill and become certified. And some come purely for the experience and personal transformation.

Come on your own, or bring a partner or friend. Everyone is welcome.

No massage experience is needed. We’ll teach you everything from the beginning.

Behind the scenes, before my client arrived today for their Half-Day Ka Huna Elemental Journey, I prepared my space with love and intention.

Earth - red ochre, gifted from the Earth, laid upon the ground and later used as part of our opening ritual.
Water - ocean water I collected the day before, ready for the cleansing/letting go ritual that begins the bodywork journey.
Air - my beautiful eagle feather, representing freedom, movement and breath.
Fire - candles burning throughout the space, bringing warmth, energy and transformation.

And then I bring in my massage table … where Earth, Water, Air and Fire are woven into the bodywork in an intuitive way.

There is so much more that goes into my sessions than simply preparing a room. For me, it is creating a space where someone can step away from the outside world for a few hours and journey inward. To receive exactly what they need to receive. To come home to themselves.

I absolutely love preparing this space and offering this beautiful journey.

With the return of daylight saving and warm weather comes our return to speer fishing and snorkling with my sons. Such much beauty under water, surrounded by massive blue gropers and friendly Port Jackson sharks.
What are you using your sunny time for? Any outdoor suggestions?
