✨ Creating Memories Through Respite ✨

At Care Alliance, we love hearing about the meaningful experiences our participants and support workers share together. We're excited to share this reflection from our support worker, Charlotte, following a recent respite adventure with Sally.

đź’¬ Story shared by Charlotte:

"Sally and I just wrapped up an amazing respite trip to the Great Ocean Road! We flew from NTL to MEL and hit the road to Torquay. The scenic drive along the Road was breathtaking, with a fun stop at the Chocolaterie and some stunning lookouts.

Despite the rain and wind, we headed on from Apollo Bay to Warrnambool, visiting the Cape Otway Lighthouse and the magnificent 12 Apostles. Once we arrived in Warrnambool, we enjoyed some much needed relaxation at the hotel’s hot springs, Sally especially loved the aromatherapy.

In Geelong, we explored the city, squeezed in some shopping, and enjoyed a lively pub dinner while watching the NRL, a rare sighting in Victoria! It was a trip full of laughter and unforgettable moments for Sally and I!"

Thank you, Charlotte, for sharing this wonderful experience and for the care, support, and joy you bring to every adventure. We are so pleased Sally had the opportunity to enjoy such a memorable respite getaway. ❤️
