Motherhood didn’t make me less ambitious.
But it changed the way I can access my ambition.
Before kids, I could disappear into my work for hours. My ADHD hyperfocus helped me build this business. Now, with two little people needing me constantly, that same focus is almost impossible to hold onto.
And honestly? I’ve grieved that.
I’ve grieved the version of me who could work for hours, create without interruption, and feel completely in control of her time.
But I’m learning that rebuilding doesn’t have to look like building did.
Maybe it’s 20 minutes.
Maybe it’s one idea.
Maybe it’s showing up when I’m exhausted and doing what I can.
It still counts.
If you’re postpartum, parenting little ones, navigating an ADHD brain, or trying to keep your business alive in the tiny cracks of your day — you’re not failing.
You’re building differently now.
