Beloved husband of Gina, loving father of Debra, Victor (dec) and Laural, father-in-law to Mark , proud grandfather of Stuart, Ryan and Jesse.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service for John, to be held at the Lynd Highway Cemetery on Thursday the 2nd of July 2026, commencing at 10am.

Brian Raymond Hughes, late of Richmond Hill Charters Towers
Beloved husband of Patricia. Brother in law to Poppy & Ian, Uncle of Melissa and Brant. Brian was a valued member of the Charters Towers Bowls Club, the Charters Towers Rotary Club and the Gold City Country Music Club. Family, friends and club members are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service for Brian to be held on Friday the 26th of June 2026 commencing at 10am.

FATHER JOHN HALL EMERSON

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Father John Hall Emerson, husband to Judith Ann (deceased) and father of David, Wendy and Mark & Jenny and families. Father John was well known in the Northern Region for his service to God and also as Police Chaplain and Nashos Chaplin.

His service will take place on Friday the 3rd of July at All Souls St Gabriels School Chapel, 30 Doctor George Ellis Drive, Charters Towers commencing at 11am. His family invite all who knew him to attend his farewell. The cortège will then proceed to the Harry Birgan Lawn Cemetery via Gill St for internment.
May he rest in eternal peace.
