For many women living with PCOS, the focus has traditionally been on the number on the scale. But what if we shifted the conversation to strength instead?

Research shows that resistance training can help improve insulin sensitivity, support hormone regulation, increase muscle mass, and boost overall wellbeing in women with PCOS.

Whether you're lifting weights in the gym, following a strength program at home, or just getting started, every step towards strength counts.

Strong bodies. Strong minds. Stronger health.

Hysteroscopy is a surgical procedure to examine the inside of the uterus under general anaesthesia performed as a day case procedure. Another wonderful evening at the 2026 Northside Gynaecology GP Symposium held on the 13th of
May at Queensland Cricketers’ Club. The event brought together local GPs and healthcare
professionals for an engaging and educational evening presented by our four talented
gynaecologists- Dr Archna Saraswat, Dr Ashwini Margale, Dr Caroline Wewengkang and Dr Keisuke
Tanaka.
The evening provided an opportunity to share knowledge, answer questions, and strengthen
connections within our medical community, while delivering valuable insights across a range of
important women’s health topics.
Events like these continue to foster collaboration, education, and ongoing support between
specialists and GPs to help improve outcomes and care for women within our community.
A special thank you to our amazing sponsors Bayer, Ramsay Health Care, Besins Healthcare, QML
Pathology, Lawley Pharmaceuticals, Gedeon Richter and Aspen Pharma Group.
