We had the pleasure of celebrating **Linda’s birthday** during our lovely Spring Afternoon Tea! 🎂💐

When the weather decided to change our plans, we simply brought the celebration indoors — adding a little touch of spring to brighten the room. 🌷🌿

Surrounded by beautiful spring touches, delicious treats, and wonderful company, it was a delightful afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and birthday cheer.

We were delighted to welcome a special delegation from Gold Age Co., Ltd. in Japan this week!

Gold Age is a highly respected aged care provider, operating 61 homes throughout Japan and delivering home-like accommodation, nursing care, and comprehensive support services for older people.

Our guests included President Mr Ohara, Mr Mizutani (Executive Officer and Regional Manager), and members of their executive, clinical, and allied health teams.

Visits like these are a wonderful reminder that quality aged care is a global endeavour. By sharing ideas, experiences, and innovations, we can learn from one another and continue to improve the lives of the people we care for every day.

Thank you for visiting Abel Tasman Village. We look forward to building on this international friendship and collaboration for many years to come.

Belinda Adams and Shane Edwards were a powerful duo, entertaining guests at Chester Hill RSL.

We had 10 residents attending, who thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful entertainment and atmosphere. We were also very grateful for the fantastic assistance and support provided by our volunteers and family members, who helped make the outing such a successful and enjoyable experience for everyone.

A big thank you to Belinda, Shane, our volunteers, and our families for helping create such a memorable day for our residents.

Residents enjoyed a fantastic Michael Bublé and Natalie Cole tribute performance at the Brian Brown Theatre, followed by a delicious lunch.

There was lots of wonderful interaction throughout the morning, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Christian Guerrero was one of the performers, and it was lovely to see him recognise our residents and our group as he had recently performed at the Daffodil Concert. He happily acknowledged us and mentioned how pleased he was to see familiar faces in the audience.

It was a wonderful outing filled with great music, laughter, connection and delicious food. Our residents had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the experience.

🌭☕ **Father’s Day BBQ & Morning Tea** 💙

Our Father’s Day BBQ and morning tea was a big hit with our residents! We enjoyed delicious food, great company and plenty of smiles as we celebrated all the wonderful fathers and father figures in our community. 🥰

We were very lucky that the weather was on our side, allowing us to enjoy our BBQ lunch outdoors in the sunshine. 🌞🌿 It was a lovely day filled with good food, laughter and wonderful moments shared together.

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers and all our staff who helped organise, prepare and make the event such a success. Your time, effort and enthusiasm are truly appreciated and helped make the day extra special for our residents. ❤️👏

Father’s Day Country & Western Concert

🤠🎶 **A Fantastic Father’s Day Celebration!** 🎶🤠

Scott and Neil from Happy Hive were absolutely fabulous, entertaining our residents with a fantastic **Country & Western show** for our Father’s Day concert! 🎸🕺

There were plenty of toe-tapping tunes, big smiles, singing along and lots of fun. Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying the music and celebrating the special fathers and father figures in our community. ❤️

A huge thank you to Scott and Neil for putting on such a brilliant performance and helping make our Father’s Day celebration so memorable! 👏🎶
