The countdown is officially on! 🤩

After months and months of planning, designing, building and watching this space completely transform… we finally get to say it.

The Speech Express and Osteo Express are opening the doors to our new home on Monday 14th of September! Our final day working from 1 Kimberley Drive, Chirnside Park will be on Saturday 12th of September.

Our new address is:

📍 18 Clarke Street, Lilydale

Our new home is in the heart of Lilydale, directly opposite the beautiful Melba Park Playground and surrounded by a great café scene.

And while you’ve now seen the outside, we’re not quite done sharing our story yet.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue to take you inside and share how this empty shell has slowly become our new therapy home.

Next stop… LILYDALE!

You need to see where this started…

Before the vision came to life, before the plans, before we knew exactly what this space would become… there was Clarke.

We first met Clarke in the Autumn of 2025. But it wasn’t until the following year that we would start seeing out the transformation.

We had found our empty shell. Bare and bright and begging for a face lift!

But the second we met Clarke, we could see the potential.

We could picture the rooms we wanted to create, the spaces our clients would move through down to all the little details that would make this feel completely different from a traditional clinic.

The only problem was… none of it existed yet.

So, we got to work. Rooms had to be designed and built from scratch. Walls came down and new ones went up. Plans were drawn, changed and drawn again. Permits were applied for. We’re not exaggerating when we say it took 15 versions to finally get the floor plan just right.

It was exciting and completely overwhelming all at once, but we had this huge desire to conquer Clarke. There was so much to figure out, so much to learn and what felt like a million decisions to make.

But even when Clarke was nothing more than an empty shell, we could see it.

We knew what it could become.

And slowly, Clarke started becoming our therapy home.

Hazel belongs to Olivia, one of our wonderful Certified Practicing Speech Pathologists here at The Speech Express!

Hazel is a sweet little spoodle who loves playing fetch and getting lots and lots of cuddles. 🎾🥰 She’s full of personality, loves being around people, and is always ready to have some fun!

The Speech Express is pulling into the school holidays with TWO fun-filled 3-day programs, run by our Speech Pathologists and designed to build communication, confidence and independence.

☕🐾 FURRY FRIENDS CAFÉ EXPRESS
For primary school-aged children

Children will create and run their own café while practising real-world social communication skills through taking orders, preparing food, teamwork, conversation, problem-solving and flexible thinking. Plus, some very special furry customers! 🐶🐹

✨ The Clinic Dream ✨

We never planned this.

Jesse and I never set out to be business owners. While we were falling in love with each other in our twenties, we were also falling in love with our careers.

Some might say we were lucky finding each other and work that never felt just like a job. But we knew early on, that we had both found something that felt like purpose.

And somewhere along the way, a quiet thought started to grow…
what if we could build something that held both of those loves side by side?

When we first saw the space, everything shifted.
Ideas flooded in, and suddenly this little dream felt possible… like something that could actually become our reality.

We felt inspired and completely in over our heads in the same breath.

And now… it’s nearly time.

Over the next few weeks, we’re bringing you behind the scenes of how this space transformed into our new therapy home.

Trust us when we say, you won’t believe your eyes. We still can’t either!

Move-in day is just around the corner, and we cannot wait to take you along for the journey 🤍

A little recap from our July Furry Friends Express holiday program!

From meeting our incredible therapy animals 🐴🐶, to creative crafts 🎨, problem-solving activities 🧩, and building meaningful friendships! Every day was jam-packed with opportunities to grow confidence, communication and creating awesome new friendships.

School Holidays are all about trying new things and creating memories, filled with fun, friendship and learning along the way!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing families and our Furry Friends Express crew for making this such a special program. We can't wait for the next adventure!🚂🐾
