We’re excited to share that Bethesda Health Care is growing.

In three weeks, Mount Private Hospital will become Bethesda Mount Hospital, joining our hospital in Claremont as part of one Bethesda Health Care organisation.

From 24 September, we’ll be caring for Western Australians across two locations, bringing together the expertise, experience and people that make Bethesda what it is.

It’s an exciting new chapter in our 80 years of history - and we can’t wait to share the journey with you.

Two locations. One Bethesda.

We are so lucky to have skilled volunteers like Anna, who brings Ziggy in twice a week to visit patients (and staff!) as a therapy dog in our palliative care unit.

Ziggy as you can see is a calming presence and much loved by all. Studies show therapy dogs can significantly reduce anxiety, blood pressure and pain for patients, while boosting morale.

Thank you Anna and Ziggy ❤️

Happy National Volunteer Week! We have more than 50 volunteers who generously give their time to Bethesda to make a true difference in the lives of patients.

Whether offering unique therapies, hand made blankets, raffles and cake stalls, providing conversation, meeting and greeting, or rolling the drinks trolley, our volunteers are a CRUCIAL part of patient experience.

☀️ Thank you for brightening our days ☀️

Today is International Nurses Day! At Bethesda we handed out a few treats to our incredible nursing staff to thank them for all that they do.

In the words of our Director of Nursing, Donelle: "Today is an opportunity to pause and recognise the incredible contribution each of you makes, every single day.
Nursing is at the heart of what we do at Bethesda — the compassion, professionalism and commitment you bring to patient care is what defines our organisation and truly reflects who we are. "

We are so proud of our nursing team. Thank you!
