InAddition Care Consultants I am a Registered Nurse/Midwife with nearly 30 years of experience, working with children and families across a variety of settings.

I have a passion for caring and advocacy. I am blessed with a beautiful, neurodiverse, blended family of five children who fill my world with joy. Two are now adults and I am so proud of everything they do and who they are as individuals. So, when I say that working with families is a privilege, I mean that with all my heart. I have plenty of lived experience with the struggle of trying to find su

pport and information, trying to manage multiple therapies and medical appointments, working, being a wife and mother, and everything else in between. Hence our motto, “Some call it chaos, we call it family!”

I just love this quote because it is SO TRUE! When my boys start acting out I have to ask myself what my part is in their behaviour? Am I not connecting with them enough? Am I distracted and not focusing on their needs?⁠ Do I need to show them ways to regulate their emotions?
Before long they will be all grown up and the work we put into them now, giving them the love, letting them know they matter, can help them on their journey through life.
